Lindsay Grigsby Sculpture
Welcome to the new webpage presenting wood, metalwork and other sculptures created by Lindsay Grigsby. Having grown up in Virginia, spending much time at a neighbor’s woodworking shop, Lindsay would hone his skills during his employment as a craftsman at Colonial Williamsburg’s Gunsmith Shop. In 1972, Lindsay became an antiques dealer, specializing in 18th-century English and American decorative arts. For many years, he also created museum-quality reproductions of furniture, floorcloths, and other decorative arts for private and public collections.
During the 1990s, Grigsby co-owned and co-directed the Mabey and Fulcrum Art Galleries in Richmond, Virginia. After moving to Pennsylvania in 1999, Lindsay more fully began to explore the creation of his own artwork. He also became an important collaboator on beadwork sculptures created by his wife, Leslie Grigsby.
We hope you enjoy the sampling of sculptures by Lindsay Grigsby on this website. If you would like to see more or request prices, please send your remarks via “Leave a Comment,” below.
